Reflections on week 8

Our course is really winding down, it is hard to believe that almost two months went by... As always, this week was full of nice activities. I created an online exercise, and also learned how to create a website for classes on google sites. It will help me a lot in the future since I am planning to create online exercises and class websites for my students in the future.
This week I learned about another great (and free) online tool - ANVILL, something that I intend to use in the future. We also had the opportunity to 'meet' Jeff and participate in the webinar, which was an opportunity to get in 'real-time contact' with other participants and instructors.
Finally, I completed the draft version of my project. I am more than happy with the reaction of my students to the use of the virtual classroom.
All in all, another very productive and interesting week is behind us, and this course has been such a wonderful experience.

  1. Dear dzemal
I think you are right we have learned about free online tools. The most important is to use them and implement them in our teaching. Also I think we can train our students to use these tools in their future study. I like when you mention about the virtual classroom. It is time for these type of classes that we are going to see in the coming years.

  2. Hello Dzemal,
I heard you in the webinar, but you were so enthusiatic in the conversation with the other fellow participant from Egypt that I didn't want to interrupt you.
ANVILL is such an interesting tool to use with our students. I want to give it a go next year as this school year is about to finish.
I want to try the speaking and listening activities.

    bye

  3. Hi guys,
I also enjoyed the webinar and listening to you both, I've already created my first course on ANVILL and I don't think I'll be able to wait until next year, I'm going to try it before we end of my course!
